Following the foot prints of 'Palace on Wheels' luxury train, the 'The Royal Rajasthan on Wheels' train also embarks on a regal journey through the various stunning and historic destinations of ravishing Rajasthan, enchanting Agra, and the delightful Delhi. But, the main highlight of this trip is Taj Mahal-'the eternal epitome of love.'

This train is newly built and designed in a contemporary royal style to give a royal look. A journey in this train will surely delight every traveller as it has magnificent interiors, sumptuous meals, expensive wines, and personalised service by the Khidmatgars, the likes of which you would rarely experience.

Luxurious Facilities Onboard The Royal Rajasthan On Wheels

Similar to other luxurious trains of India, 'Royal Rajasthan On Wheels' also offers cordial hospitality to its guests. The entire train is furnished with simply exquisite decor and interiors.

Coaches and Saloons

This beautiful train has 13 deluxe coaches and a Super deluxe coach which are named after various magnificent palaces such as Hawa Mahal, Chandra Mahal, Surya Mahal, Moti Mahal, Sukh Mahal, Jal Mahal, Padmini Mahal, Kishori Mahal, Phool Mahal, Jogi Mahal, Kumbha Palace, Umaid Palace, Lalgarh Palace and Taj Mahal respectively. These coaches are bedecked with silk and velvet bedspreads, big beds, chairs, draperies, writing table, wooden furniture, silk furnishings, upholstery and sofa. All these things has created a royal ambiance in the entire train. Every coach and saloons in the train is Wi-Fi enabled. This train has the largest windows among all the trains of India. So, that guests can have full fledge views of majestic sceneries.

Restaurants

Royal Rajasthan on Wheels has two royal Restro Lounges namely Sheesh Mahal and Swarn Mahal. Both the restaurants offer some of the best mouth-watering delicacies from Rajasthani. Indian, Continental and Chinese cuisines. Dinning in these two restaurants will surely add pleasure to your journey.

Bar and Lounge

Beside these two royal restaurants, the Royal Rajasthan on Wheels also has well stocked bar to lighten up the evening of the guests. This bar on the train serves selected brands of liquor such as Aperitif, Malt, Whisky, Scotch, Rum, Vodka, Cognac, Wines and Champagne.

Spa

Another special attraction of the Royal Rajasthan On Wheels Train is its onborad Spa facility. This spa is well equipped and offers various kinds of messages and therapies. Detail Tour Itinerary

'Royal Rajasthan on Wheels' train takes the guests to a journey of heritage destinations of North and Central India. It offers a week long (8 days/ 7 nights) tour itinerary and traverses through various royal places of India. So, that the guests can peep into the royal world of India.

Destinations Covered: Delhi - Jodhpur - Udaipur - Chittorgarh - Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambore National Park) - Jaipur - Khajuraho - Varanasi - Agra - Delhi.

Day 1 - Sunday - Delhi
Reporting Time:- 4 pm at Safdarjung Railway Station
Departure Time:- 5.30 pm for Jodhpur

Day 2 - Monday - Jodhpur

7.30 am - Breakfast onbaord the train
8.15 am - Arrival in Jodhpur
9.15 am - Proceed for sightseeing trip to Mehrangrah Fort and Umaid Bhawan.
1.15 pm - Lunch at a Palace hotel / 5 Star hotel
3.30 pm - Return to Train
4.00 pm - Departure for Udaipur

Day 3 - Tuesday - Udaipur

7.00 am - Arrival in Udaipur
7.30 am - Onboard breakfast
8.30 am - Proceed for sightseeing trip across Sahelion ki Baari, City Palace, and boat                    ride on Lake Pichola
1.00 pm - Lunch at a 5 star hotel
2.15 pm - Back to train for next destination Chittorgarh
3.30 pm - Arrival to Chittorgarh and proceed to Chittorgarh Fort
5.00 pm - Tea break at fort restaurant
5.30 pm - Light and sound show
8.00 pm - Return to train for dinner
10.00 pm - Departure for Sawai Madhopur

Day 4 - Wednesday - Sawai Madhopur

5.30 am - Arrival at Sawai Madhopur
6.00 am - Departure for a wildlife safari in Ranthambore National Park
9.30 am - Return to train for breakfast
10.00 am - Departure for Jaipur
12.00 am - Arrival in Jaipur
12.30 pm - Proceed for sightseeing of Amer Fort.
1.30 pm - Lunch at Cafe Amber
2.30 pm - Departure from Amer Fort
3.00 pm - Sightseeing trip to Jantar Mantar, City Palace, and other monuments of city                        including some shopping.
8.30 pm - Return to train.
9.00 pm - Dinner in the train
10.00 pm - Departure for Khajuraho

Day 5 - Thursday - Khajuraho

8.00 am - Onboard breakfast
9.45 am - Arrival in Khajuraho
10.00 am - Exploration of Western Group of Khajuraho temples.
1.00 pm - Lunch at a 5 Star Palace Hotel
2.30 pm - Exploration of the Southern Group of Temples
5.00 pm - Return to train for tea and refreshments
6.00 pm - Leave for the Light and Sound show
8.00 pm - Onboard dinner
9.00 pm - Departure for Varanasi city.

Day 6 - Friday - Varanasi

7.30 am - Breakfast onboard
8.00 am - Arrival at Varanasi
9.00 am - Proceed for local sight seeing which includes places like Kashi Vishwanath
                    Mandir,Sarnath
1.00 pm - Lunch at a 5 star hotel
2.30 pm - Again proceed to visit Ghats, a boat ride on River Ganges and attend Aarti.
7.30 pm - Return to train
8.00 pm - Dinner aboard the train.
9.00 pm - Departure for Agra

Day 7 - Saturday - Agra

7.30 am - Breakfast in the train
9.40 am - Arrival in Agra Cantonment
10.00 am - Proceed for sightseeing trip to Agra Fort.

2.00 pm - Proceed for Taj Mahal after lunch
