Day 1 : Arrival at Delhi
Fly into Capital city of Delhi. From airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Check into your hotel room. Spend the remaining day according to your interests. Rest in your room to remove all the travel exhaustion or you can step out for shopping.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing
The days starts your most awaited complete India tour with Delhi sightseeing. A tight scheduled day awaits you so keep up the speed and energy levels so as to cover maximum number of Delhi wonders on the day. We kick off the day by visiting the famous Qutab Minar. Take a good look at this exquisite work of architecture which is the tallest minaret in India built of red sandstone. Few meters to the side of Qutab Minar is the iron pillar that never rusts. Although you are no more allowed to touch it, but gaze at it and get mesmerized. From here we drive past Parliament House and Rashtrapati Bhavan. We make a short stop at India Gate which is probably the greenest part of Delhi. Enjoy around 15 minutes around this landmark. Day 3 : To Srinagar
Early Morning, we set off for Srinagar by flight. The time taken for the journey is not much and we reach there in morning itself. We have complete day in our hand. Stay in Srinagar has been arranged in a houseboat on the Dal Lake, impressed. Rest for a while and soak in the purity in the atmosphere that will refresh you instantly. After a delicious Kashmiri lunch on the houseboat itself, we leave for the multihued Mughal Gardens, which are situated right by the side of Dal Lake. We come back to Dal lake. We will take you for a refreshing shikara ride. Shopping during the boat ride is a major part of the fun. You will literally get everything you need here itself. Day 4 : Srinagar Gulmarg Srinagar - Enjoy The Beauty of Himalayan Peaks
Amidst the tall pine trees and scintillating aroma of fresh flowers, your first morning in Srinagar begins. After a light breakfast, we start our journey to Gulmarg which is renowned as the center of skiing in India. By the time we reach Gulmarg, your eyes would have had a look on the most beautiful palces in Kashmir. Gulmarg is a place full of activities to do and only an active traveler can make the best out of it. Whether you will be able to do skiing, will depend on the season you are visiting. In winters, skiing is at its peak, otherwise there is the highest green top golf course in the world. Treat yourself to some good rounds of golf in the picturesque golf course. Also get on the Gondola lift (Cable car) that will take you to the top of Apherwat. View of the surrounding hill area is simply spellbinding. Day 5 : Srinagar Jaipur (By Flight)
Early morning after a sumptuous breakfast, we leave for the heritage state of Rajasthan. First stop is Jaipur. From airport, you are directly taken to your hotel for rest. In the evening, we take you to the majestic Amber fort which is around 11 km away from the city center. The best way of reaching the fort is by taking an elephant ride, so lets do it. The fort is situated on a high hilltop and the sights of the surrounding areas from inside the fort are really scintillating. View the magical sunset over the far off hill ranges which will be a sight to be remembered for a lifetime. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 : Jaipur Sightseeing Night To Jaisalmer
Gear yourself for a splendid day. Jaipur is simply an outstanding city to explore. First we visit the Hawa Mahal. Take a look at the many antiques and artifacts in the small museum inside the palace. We then move onto the famous City Palace which is not too far from here. The premise is huge and covers one seventh of the total city area. Inside there are many complex like Mubarak Mahal, Chandra Mahal , Sabha Niwas. Each complex is famous for different things. Visit the museum inside the Mubarak Mahal that showcases royal costumes of the great rulers whereas Sileh Khana has a huge collection of weapons and artilleries used by the armies of these great kings. Do not forget to visit the many shops inside the complex from where you can buy many locally made items. The royal family still resides here. Day 7 : Jaisalmer Arrival - Welcome To Desert City
We reach Jaisalmer at afternoon. You will be transferred to your hotel from the railway station. Today you will have the most unique experience of your life. In the evening we take you for a camel safari on the magnificent sand dunes of Thar. In the evening time, the reddish hue of the desert sand due to the setting sun will take your breath away. Day 08: Jaisalmer Sightseeing
With the rising sun, Thar sand gets a glittering color of gold. Wake up to it and get ready for a day of history sightseeing in Jaisalmer. We start the day by visiting the world famous Jaisalmer Fort. The fort is situated on Trikuta hills which is around 250 ft high. The fort is also called Sonar Quila for the golden color that it reflects during the sunrise and sunsets. Just stare at its beauty and get amazed. While inside the fort, shop for the traditional arts and crafts from the many shops inside the fort itself. We also visit the many Jaisalmer havelis that are also as famous as the fort. In the night we take an overnight train to Jodhpur.
Day 09: To Jodhpur, Jodhpur Udaipur (Evening) - The 3 Princely Cities
We reach Jodhpur by early morning. You will be transferred to your hotel, rest for a while to remove all the travel exhaustion. Jodhpur is just a connecting stop between Jaisalmer and Udaipur. We won't be going out for sighseeing or spending a full day here. Although you have ample time to explore the nearby areas before another long journey. After a spicy Rajasthani lunch, we head for Udaipur by road. The journey would be around 260 km. By night, we reach Udaipur. Check into hotel for a much awaited resting session. Day 10: Udaipur Sightseeing
Wake up to the splendid morning rays for another day in the heritage state of Rajasthan. Day 11 awaits you with the magnificent Udaipur city ready to reveal its secrets to you. First we visit the famous Lake Palace which is situated right in the center of shimmering Lake Pichola. Notice its reflection on the lake. In the evening, when the lights come on in the palace, the sight is so mesmerizing that it just cannot be described in words. Durbar Hall in the Fateh Prakash hotel is another attraction that will enchant you. The lavish interiors depict the royalty of Rajasthan rulers. Inside the Fateh Prakash Palace itself, there is crystal gallery which is full of exquisite and rare precious stones. Day 11: Udaipur Ranthambore
Today is the day, we make our trip to the first national park on this tour, Ranthambore. The journey starts only in the late evening. So let us capitalize on the day by visiting all the major shopping markets in Udaipur. The city is probably the best shopping place in Rajasthan after Jaipur. The variety for different items is simply astounding. Do not miss out on the vibrant puppets, handmade for making them long lasting. The miniature art forms are also very famous. After evening snacks, we move to Udaipur railway station to catch train to Sawai Madhopur. We reach there around midnight, so special care is taken for the next 11 km journey to Ranthambore. As soon we reach Ranthambore, you will be taken to the Jungle resort already booked for you. Its time for goodnight sleep.
Day 12: Ranthambore Tiger Sightseeing
Mornings are without a doubt the best time to go for a Jungle ride. So cut short your sleep to wake up to the early morning mists and get ready for a safari in Ranthambore Wildlife park. The national park is spread out in an area of around 500 sq km. Keep your eyes open for spotting the king of the jungle and other jungle animals. Keep a binocular handy as the park is full of numerous varieties of birds also. In the afternoon, we take you to the majestic Ranthambore Fort that is situated on a high hill. The nature nicely balances the presence of the fort with the surroundings. After exploring the core areas of the park, we return to our jungle resort. Overnight stay at the jungle resort.
Day 13: Ranthambore Jaipur(130 Km) Agra
Out of your sleep by listening to the soft chirping of the birds and scent of morning fresh nature, in the lap of nature. After morning breakfast, we leave for Jaipur which is around 130 km away. We travel by road. After reaching Jaipur, we move straight to the airport in Jaipur. From here, we take flight to the city of the magnificent Taj Mahal, Agra. We take you straight to your hotel in Agra suburbs. During the night time, make plans to visit the Taj. The view of the Taj under the moonlit skies is simply magical. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14: Agra and Fatehpur Sikri Sightseeing
Start the day early to catch the glimpse of Taj Mahal with the rays of rising sun. If the seventh wonder seemed magical under moonlit skies, the morning sight too will look heavenly. Take your time to tread through all corners of the complex. We continue our ride to the UNESCO recognized world heritage site, Fatehpur Sikri, the once capital of Akbar. All the main attractions in this sleepy town are still very well preserved, the Tomb of Salim Chisti, Palace of Jodha Bai, Panch Mahal, Diwan-i-Aam and Diwan-i-Khas are the best and are worth a visit. In the evening, Back to Agra to catch an overnight train to Varanasi.
Day 15: Arriving at Varanasi - The Famous Religious City
We reach Varanasi around noon. You will be directly transferred to your hotel. This has been a long train journey, so you must be requiring some rest. Resign into your cozy hotel room and rejuvenate yourself. The spiritual atmosphere that hangs over the city helps you relax quite quickly. As the evening sets in, take a stroll through the narrow streets of Varanasi and visit the world famous Varanasi ghats. By sun set, the ghats will be bustling with activities and evening puja rituals. The constant ringing of bells, the sound of devotional songs from the many temples on the ghats, will take you into a world higher than this one. Spend some time amidst the devotees before returning to your hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 16: Varanasi and Sarnath Sightseeing
With the first rays of the sun, the devotional songs from the temples starts. Take a bath in River Ganges along with thousands of other devotees and feel the purity seep into your body. Book for some puja ritual and become a part of the devotion that permeates the city atmosphere. Later that day, we visit Sarnath, the center of Buddhism which is around 10 km away from Varanasi. Sarnath is famous for the numerous towers and Buddhist stupas. The most renowned are the Dharamarajika Stupa and the Ashoka pillar that has the capital of four lions sitting atop it. It is the national emblem of India. In the evening we head back to Varanasi for the overnight stay.
Day 17: Off to Khajuraho Erotic Temples
Most of the earlier days have all started in early mornings, but today the morning session is absolutely according to your interests. Sleep as long as you want or catch the early morning freshness with a hot cup of tea, though latter one is more refreshing. In the afternoon, we catch a train to the city of Khajuraho. We get down at Mahoba at time well past midnight. Special arrangements have been done for your transfer to Khajuraho which is around 60 km from Mahoba station. Overnight stay at Khajuraho hotel.
Day 18: Khajuraho Sightseeing
The day breaks not long after you have gone to sleep, so for first half of the day, we remain at the hotel. After a delicious lunch, we head out for exploring the magnificent Khajuraho temples. Make use of every moment you spend around these one of a kind temples in the whole world. The Walls of Khajuraho temples are carved with many erotic sculptures which have made these temples world famous. We stay back till late evening so that we will be able to witness the real splendor of the temples under floodlights. The spectacle will leave you breathless, but not for too long. Back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 19: Khajuraho Mumbai
In the noon, we catch a flight a the commercial capital of India, Mumbai. We reach there in the late evening. After check in into your hotel, rest for the day to remove the exhaustion of three previous hectic days. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 20: Mumbai Sightseeing
If you are lucky enough, you might just be able to see stars early in the morning. Wake up with the rising sun and we will take you to Juhu beach near which many Bollywood actors stay. If it's your day, you might just spot a super star jogging along the coast. Beaches definitely are the main attractions of the city but there are few other attractions as well. In the morning, we visit Gateway of India. The gateway is built on the edge of the city. It is considered as an entry and exit point to the city. It was from here the last British ship left during Indian independence. After exploring the landmark structure, we visit the Haji Ali Mosque which is an important pilgrim spot for Muslims. The mosque is located around 500 m into the sea and is linked to the mainland only by a causeway. As the evening sets, we take a boat ride to the renowned Elephanta caves which are situated on an island not too far away from here. Within an hour we reach the caves which are recognized as a world heritage site by UNESCO. At the entrance of the cave, you will find the statues of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma. The statues are all exceptionally well carved. There are two huge elephant sculptures as well on the entrance, probably the reason the caves were named Elephanta. Inside, you will find sculptures of Hindu Gods and Goddesses carved on the walls of these rock cut caves. We return to Mumbai hotel for overnight stay.
Day 21: Mumbai Aurangabad
Wake up early to catch your flight to Aurangabad. The distance between the two cities is not two much and it will take only around 45 minutes to reach the destination. After checking into the hotel we will be leaving for the famous Ajanta and Ellora caves as soon as possible. A two hour ride will take us to the historic Ajanta and Ellora caves. As we reach the caves, notice the sudden silence and heaviness the air. Ajanta and Ellora caves have been recognized as a world heritage sites by UNESCO. The caves are the best specimens of rock cut caves that are there in India. There are around 34 Ajanta caves and around 29 Ellora caves. The engravings and figures on the walls of the cave depict that the caves were used as a retreat and a learning center by Buddhist monks. The figures on the walls are from many stories from the Jatakas, the tales of many Buddha incarnations. In Ellora caves, you will find paintings relating to three religions, Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Though you will be able to distinguish between them as the caves dedicated to same religion are all together. Spend the whole day exploring the caves. In the evening we return to our hotel in Aurangabad. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 22: Aurangabad - Kochi
Today is the day when we visit the much celebrated 'God's Own Country', Kerala. You will taken on time to airport for your flight to Kochi. You will be directly taken to your hotel for check in. In the afternoon, we will visit few nearby spice plantations. Spice tourism is said to be the next big thing that is going to happen in Kerala tourism. Cardamom, ginger, pepper, vanilla are the few of the most common spices in Kerala. In the evening, we return back to our hotel for overnight stay.
Day 23: Kochi - Allepey - Enjoy Houseboat Ride
After a sumptuous Kerala special breakfast, we leave early for Alleppey. The distance between the two cities is around 60 km which wont take more than an hour and a half. We take you straight to your hotel as soon as we reach Alleppey. After a short rest, get ready to experience the magic of Kerala backwaters. As your boat cruises through many backwater channels, just lie relaxed on your seat and enjoy the serene environment that will take you into world above normal. The backwaters is covered by palm trees on both sides making the sun play hide and seek with you. After a full day in natures lap, we head back to our hotel for overnight stay.
Day 24: Alleppey To Trivandrum
Wake up to another magnificent morning in the beautiful state of Kerala. Today we take a ride to the capital city of Trivandrum. The distance between the two cities is around 160 km and will take around 4 hrs. Every inch of this state is nothing less than a paradise, so don't let this journey go waste. Keep your eyes upon and look out for some of the best sceneries you would have ever seen. We directly move to hotel. Still a major part of the day is remaining. We utilize it by visiting the renowned Padmanabhaswamy Temple. It is one of the most visited temples in Kerala and is famous for the gold plated image of Lord Vishnu. We also visit some of main markets in the city from where you can buy some ethnic and traditional items of Kerala. Rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 25: Trivandrum Kanyakumari
Day 25 is set aside for sightseeing in the splendidly charming city of Kanyakumari. Early morning, after a delicious dosa and sambar breakfast, we head out for Kanyakumari. The journey is around 88 km long and will take somewhere between 3-4 hours. We will be straight away start with our sightseeing tour of the city. In Kanyakumari, all the attractions are situated close to each other. So we cover all the places like Kanyakumari Temple, Gandhi Mandapam and Vivekananda Rock memorial at one go. Also spend some time meditating in the meditation hall in the Rock memorial. As the evening falls, we take you to the multicolored Kanyakumari beach. Spend some high quality time indulging in water sports and shopping before heading back to Trivandrum. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 26: Trivandrum Kochi
Early morning we leave for Kochi. This is probably the longest road journey that we have done till now on this tour. But nothing to worry about, you will love every moment of it and at the end, you will only wish if the journey was a bit more long. We reach Kochi by noon and directly check into hotel. The rest of the day is according to your interests. Just like the mornings, the evenings too in Kerala are really refreshing. Visit the shops in the city and spend some time shopping for some unique items. Day 27: Kochi Lakshadweep
A day of traveling is how Day 27 can be called. Get yourself ready for a daylong cruise in Arabian sea. Early morning we leave for the virgin islands of Lakshadweep by a ship. Through the calm waters of the sea. The ship has all the facilites that will make your cruise a pretty comfortable one. So enjoy every moment of your journey. Looking at the sunset on the horizon, from the middle of the sea is something special. Overnight on the ship.
Day 28 : On The Islands of Lakshadweep
We reach Lakshadweep at early morning. You are transferred directly to a beach resort. Rest for some time before visiting the sublime beaches of the islands. There are great facilities for watersports on the beaches. So indulge in activities like kayaking, snorkelling, para sailing and scuba diving. At night lie on your back on the beach and look skywards. The crystal clear and star studded sky, that probably is not visible in cities or towns anymore, will leave you breathless. Day : 29 Lakshadweep Kochi
We leave for Kochi early morning. You again get to enjoy a pleasant ship cruise, this time back to Kochi. The journey will take something between 14-20 hrs to finish. Infact, utilize the time for relaxing all your muscles. Overnight stay on the cruise ship.
Day 30 : Kochi Bhubaneswar
Our boat ride ends early morning on the shores of Kochi. We straight away move to the airport for your next journey to Bhubaneswar. It will be night when we reach our destinations. You will be directly taken to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 31 : Bhubaneswar - Puri
Bhubaneswar and Puri are at a distance of 93 km from each other. After a delicious Orrissi breakfast, we start our journey. It will take around 3 hrs to cover the distance. Upon arrival, you will be directly taken to your hotel for check in. After a while, we leave for Konark, which is only 35 km from here.As we reach Konark, you will be directly taken to the famous Sun Temple. This is an architectural masterpiece of medieval India. The magnificent temple is dedicated to Sun God and this is the first place in India where the Sun God was worshiped. In the evening, take a walk in the market along the beach. We then move back to Puri for overnight stay.
Day 32 : Puri Bhubaneswar Guwahati Cherrapunjee
Day 32 is completely set aside for traveling, both by road and air. First we cover the 93 km distance back to Bhubaneswar. From there we take the morning flight to Guwahati. We reach the destination before noon. We rest for some time in the nature's lap before leaving for the second most wettest place on earth, Cherrapunjee. The journey is long but not a bit tiring. The 4 hour journey will pass away like few moments. The entire journey through the best of nature, will surely keep you gripped. As we reach, Cherrapunjee , you will be directly taken to a hotel. Day 33 : Cherrapunjee Sightseeing
The day is all for leisure. The sightseeing tour in the town is an ultimate treat to both your eyes and senses. The atmosphere is so clean and undiluted, that every breath you take will refresh you to the core. Cherrapunjee is famous for the series of waterfalls. Mawsmai falls, which is the fourth highest in India, is the most spectacular of them all. This 1035 feet high fall definitely is worth a visit. Cherrapunjee is small town. Just tread through the natural walks and probably shop for some locally made items. Keep yourself fresh as the next day is kept for the longest journey of the tour. So be prepared. Day 34 : To Kaziranga National Park
Before the start, get yourself mentally prepared for an 8 hour journey, rest everything will be like a dream. We start quite early to get to our destination with a lot of time left in the day to relax. We will take long breaks in between to keep ourselves fresh and energetic. By early evening, we will be at Kaziranga. Check into the Jungle resort and resign to your room for some much needed rest. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 35 : Kaziranga National Park Safari
We head out into the deep jungle for an early morning jungle safari. There are precautions to be taken before the expedition. The early morning mists and cold winds will make the atmosphere a bit chilly. So don't forget to take along some warm clothes. Kaziranga National park is most famous for the one horned rhino and elephants. Elephants are not that tough to spot, and once you do, keep your cameras clicking. You will generally find rhinos near the marshy areas. While looking for the rare ones, do not miss out on the magnificent ones of jungles. Bird watchers will also have a good time spotting some endangered species in the park. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 36 : Back to Delhi
