Day 01: Arrival in Delhi As you reach Delhi, you will find our company representative waiting for you at the airport. He will immediately take care of your luggage and will help you to transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. You will be warmly greeted at the hotel reception by sprinkles of rose water and fragrant garlands, a typical Indian traditional welcome. Check into your room, take a hot shower and relax in the luxurious suite. After couple of hours, join with us in the lavishly decorated dining hall. Here, a brief intro will be given about tour package by our representative. Stay overnight in the Delhi hotel.
Day 02: In Delhi Delhi, the heritage city of successive dynasties, welcomes you with
open arms at the beginning of your extravagant Delhi tour. Today we
take you to discover the magnificence of the Old and New Delhi. Get
into the luxurious tourist buses and make yourself comfortable with
the ambience. As we drive, take a window look of the morning city
life. We start our day with an extensive visit to the famous monument
Qutab Minar. This five storey (72.5 m) minaret made in red sandstone
is the highest brick tower in the world and amazes you with its
excellent architecture. You will be tired but not content by taking
pictures of this beautiful monument. Your visit to Qutab Minar is not
complete until you see the Ashoka Pillar made of iron, which is a
wonder to the world as it is not rusted since centuries. Located in the crowded area of Old Delhi, Red Fort also known as Lal
Quila in Hindi is one of splendorous attractions of Mughal Regime.
Touch the red sandstone walls of the fort which have withstood the
vagaries of time to feel the unforgettable history, you will be amazed
to learn how the lives of the kings and queens used to be in the yore.
Just opposite this royal house lies the magnificent Jama Masjid - one
of the largest mosques in India. You can have a fascinating view of
the mosque across the road just standing in front of the fort. Now,
lets go and explore the bustling market of Chandni Chowk (Moonlight
Square). The enthralling rickshaw ride through the narrow and
congested lanes of Chandni Chowk will be memorable in your mind. You
cannot resist yourself from buying the dazzling gold ornaments and
precious stones for which the market is famous for decades. But to
taste the true flavor of Old Delhi, give a try to the mouthwatering
street foods from the street vendors. Forget about your diet chart and
taste the delicious Mutton Mughlai or Badaam Pasanda (almond delight)
of Karim's restaurant. Day 03: Delhi-Jaipur Today in the first half we will discover some more charm of Delhi
and after lunch we drive you to the royal city, Jaipur. So don't be
late as our day starts with the exploration of the extraordinary
architecture of modern time, Akshardhan Temple. We drive past the
extravagant Lotus Temple whose white lotus petal shaped facades can be
seen from afar. Spread over 100 acres, Akshardham Temple is a
magnificent manifestation of human artistry. Discover the 20,000
statues, floral motifs, arches and intricately carved pillars
decorating the entire premise. We can say with certainty that once you
come here, you will not be ready to leave the place. Our next
destination is Connaught Place, a sprawling circular market where you
can indulge yourself with the attractive and colorful items ranging
from traditional Indian clothes to International branded items. Enjoy
a walk in the crowded lane of Janpath studded with silver and
inexpensive jewellery stores. But wait, before buying don't forget to
bargain, it is a very famous tradition of Janpath. Feeling hungry?
Let's go to Le Meridien hotel and you can have your lunch at 'Pakwan',
famous for delectable Indian cuisine.
Day 04: In Jaipur Morning in Jaipur welcomes you with all its splendor. Also known as
'Pink City', Jaipur offers a bouquet of wondrous Rajput architecture.
Our day starts with a visit to the City Palace complex which consists
of a sprawling palace and a number of well reserved museums. You will
always remember your first walk through this heritage palace. Make an
extensive visit to the Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II Museum and you will
be amazed by watching the exclusive collection of Mughal carpets,
royal costumes, arms and weapons. Stand a few minutes in front of the
life size images of the Kings, it seems like the king is just about to
speak with you. We next move to Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), an
unusual example of the Rajput artistry. Made of pink sand stone, the
facade of Hawa Mahal form an excellent view across the road. The
Jantar Mantar is another attraction which takes you to the world of
stars. Day 05: Jaipur-Jaisalmer Wake up and have your breakfast early as we are going to visit the
Amber Fort, which lies at a distance of 11 km from Jaipur. En-route,
we drive past the spectacular Jal Mahal (Water Palace). Don't forget
to take some pictures of this beautiful palace across the lake. Amber
Fort is located on the top of the hill and we arrange a special
elephant ride to reach it. You will love to watch the Pink City spread
on the foot of the hill. The intricate decorations done on the walls
of the fort mesmerizes you with its splendor.
Day 06: In Jaisalmer Wake up early in the morning with a fragrance of the dew soaked
sands. Get ready for the exciting sand bashing as we take you to view
the sheer magic of the nature when the sun rises from the east coating
the entire region into color of honey. You will love the bumps on the
waves while driving high and then down in the sands. Before the
scorching heat of the sun tires you, we take you to the heritage hotel
of Jaisalmer. Check in the hotel and relax for two hours as a splendid
experience is waiting for you. We head towards the sky kissing
Jaisalmer Fort, located atop the Trikuta Hill. The massive fort is
still housing the one third of the total Jaisalmer population. You can
visit the exquisite palace and Jain temples, that are located in the
sprawling area of the fort. The mesmerizing view of the golden city
spread on the foot of the fort gives you numerous options to indulge
into photography. Day 07: Jaisalmer Another day starts in the Golden City of Jaisalmer, with all its
warmth and mirth. Have your breakfast and get prepared to enjoy more
of the city charm. Today, we take you for an extensive tour of
majestic havelis or mansions. Visit the wondrous Patwon ki haveli,
Nathmalji ki haveli and Jaisalmer Haveli which used to be the houses
of affluent merchants. Walk through elegantly decorated rooms or just
peep through the carved windows that may give you feeling to touch the
past. Pay attention to the interior walls of these mansions
embellished with splendid miniature paintings. You can buy some
exclusive artifacts from the shops located in some parts of the
havelis. Entire day a sightseeing tour of the city, we will be visiting the famous Umaid Bhawan Palace, where you will be bewildered by its exotic ambience quite ideal for a royal ceremonies. We will also be covering Mighty Meherangarh Fort. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 09:- Jodhpur - Udaipur Morning we will drive to Udaipur. . By afternoon, we are in the lake city Udaipur. You will immediately transfer you to the Taj Lake Palace hotel, floating on the still waters of Lake Pichola. After a traditional welcome at the reception, check into your room and relax. The evening is left for your leisure. Walk around the royal corridors and you will have a shivering inside feeling that centuries ago, the king used walk on the same path. Get yourself lost in the haunting beauty of the Lake Pichola that comes alive with the moon light. Join us in the dining room where our representative will give you a brief about the Udaipur tour. Overnight at the hotel. Day 10: In Udaipur Wake up in the morning, peep through the window and you can see the
avian life of the lake coming alive with the first ray of the sun.
Have your breakfast and get ready to explore the lake city, Udaipur
also called as the 'Venice of the East'. We start our day by visiting
the City Palace towering over the famous Lake Pichola. Flaunting a
blend of European and Chinese architecture, City Palace is a
remarkable example of human artistry. Visit the famous Jagdish Temple
located in the palace compound. Walk few steps and you will find
yourself in the royal museum comprising of many 'Mahals' of the
palace. The eye sparkling crystal figures of Manak Mahal (Ruby Palace)
will surely hypnotize you with their glow and dazzle. Day 11: In Udaipur This is yet another day to enjoy the beauty of Udaipur. Pack your bags, as today we set to discover the wilderness spread around the city. Get into the deluxe tourist bus and we start our journey for Kumbhalgarh. Throughout your journey you can see the real rural life of India passing by your window. See how the farmers are busy doing their day to day work or Rajasthani women adorned with jewellery carrying water in the earthen pots. In no time we reach Kumbhalgarh Fort, which is the largest fort in Rajasthan. Set amidst the hills of the Aravalli, this magnificent structure narrates its fascinating history. Don't miss a chance to mingle with the innocent villagers who will mesmerize you with their simple living and great hospitality. Now, we move to Ranakpur famous for its marvellously carved Jain Temples. As we move forward, Nathdwara comes to our sight. Being a pilgrimage, Lord Krishna temple is the prime attraction here. Here you can shop a bit of pichhwaris - cloth painting, to decorate the walls of your house. You may have your lunch at the road side 'dhaba' - local restaurant, which are famous for offering hygienic Indian food. Later, we transfer you to the Udaipur hotel and overnight at the hotel. Day 12: Udaipur - Jaipur - Agra This morning have a quick breakfast and set off for the airport to catch flight for our next destination- Jaipur to catch our onward train to Agra. Your evenings are at leisure. Let the moon rise up the sky and covers the entire horizon with its magical sparks, laying down a panorama to have the most glorious vista of your life - The Taj Mahal in its shimmering moonlight charms. The world famous monument Taj Mahal - the living symbol of eternal love built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. You will be engulfed by the bewitching beauty of the Taj in the soft moon light. Capture these precious moments in your camera as they will not come again. Overnight at the Agra hotel. Day 13: Agra Once again Taj Mahal in its morning glory. You will be taken by
special horse cart ride to reach the royal gateway of the Taj. As you
cross the gate, Taj Mahal, with all its glory is standing just at a
distance of few steps! Touch the walls embellished with intricate
marble inlay to believe that you are actually in Taj Mahal. Don't
forget to have a picture of yours and your beloved with the wonderful
monument at the back. From hereon, we take you to the Government
Emporium, where you can book for the outstanding marble furniture,
which will be delivered at your desired place. But don't forget to get
one miniature replica of the Taj for yourself. Enjoy the delicious
biriyani and kebabs available just outside the Taj complex.
Day 14: Varanasi - Sarnath Morning in Varanasi welcomes you with a sacred feeling. Today we set
out to discover the ancient temples of the city finding their place in
Indian mythology for centuries. We make our first stop at the world
famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The century
old history behind this temple will amaze you. Tulsi Manas Temple,
Bharat Mata Temple and the Durga Temple are our other destinations in
Varanasi. But Varanasi tour is never complete until we take you to
shop for some extravagant Benarasi Silk Sarees. Embellished with thin
gold wire work, these dazzling sarees are famous worldwide. Day 15: Varanasi - Satna - Khajuraho After breakfast, transfer to Satna via train. We will not stay at Satna, but just have a small holt to continue out drive to Khajuraho. Whole day is at sleisure. Relax, explore or do what ever you want to do. In eveningssss there is a light and sound show in the temple compound. The show takes you to re-live the day to day life of yore and make a rendezvous with the legends and history of the Chandela Temples. Overnight stay at Khajuraho. Day 16: Khajuraho After breakfast, we will visit the alluring vistas of the erotic
sculptures of Khajuraho temples. Visiting the most erotic creation of
human hands in form of Khajuraho temples is a real treat to eyes.
These sculptures are such a fine specimen of ancient architecture. The
spectacular stone image portrays each and every human emotion that
gives these stone sculptures a life. The spectacular lifelike images
portrayed on the temple walls depict beautifully the human
relationships from different perspectives. You will be amazed to find
such sensuous carvings on the temple walls in a religious country like
India. Every detail of the human mood and relationship has been so
intricately etched out as if the stone comes alive with the human
touch. Day 17: Hyderabad Have your breakfast early in the morning and get ready to fly to Hyderabad- the city of the Nizams. Check in the hotel and relax for sometime as an event full day is ahead. We start our Hyderabad tour by embarking for Golconda Fort located in the vicinity of the city. The guide will tell you about the extraordinary security of the fort which made it invincible. Come to an absolute dark room in the fort and wait for your guide to lit a matchstick; the twinkling mirrors embellished on the walls will make a burst of light leaving you mesmerized. Our next stop is Ramoji Film City, a wonderland in itself which caters to a plethora of Indian films shootings. See those famous locations finding place in the dance sequences of Indian films. Your lunch has been arranged in the sophisticated restaurant inside the film city. Later, you will be guided to the Charminar, standing majestically in the midst of the city. Have a beautiful view of the city from the curved balconies of the Minar. Just outside the Charminar, you will be lost in the colourful shop of Lad Bazar. We bet, you can't discard the tempting call of the exquisite pearl studded jewellery. You can also adorn your wrist with the colourful glass bangles. Night stay in Hyderabad hotel. Day 18: Hyderabad - Chennai We catch a early flight from Hyderabad to reach our next
destination, Chennai. Relax for an hour in your luxurious hotel suite
and then we start our tour to explore the city. The city tour includes
visit to Fort St. George which houses the Fort Museum displaying rare
pieces of weapons and uniforms of the British period and St. Mary's
Church- the first Anglican Church in India. You will be amazed with
the spectacular Dravidian architecture of the Kapaleeshwar Temple. The
common sight of the city is the beautiful Tamil ladies adorned with
Jasmine flower entangled to their long black hair and you can't stop
but gazing them repeatedly. Day 19: Thiruvananthapuram In the morning we transfer you to airport to catch a flight to Thiruvananthapuram. There will be a backwater tour on the comfortable houseboats with air-conditioned bedroom decorated with eclectic collection of furniture. The enchanting view of the swaying palm trees creating silhouette on the emerald water are sure to raise your goose bumps. See the green countryside and simple villages of Kerala passing as you sail on the tranquil backwaters. You spend the night in the well equipped houseboats watching the twinkling stars of the sky. The soothing sound of the water rippling seems like a lullaby and takes you to the dream world. Your dinner is served in the houseboat in traditional Malayalam way. Day 20 : Periyar We continue our journey to Periyar. Nestled in the picturesque
locations of Cardamom Hills, Periyar offers an absolute reward. Excite
your adventure bone as we are taking you for the boat cruise on the
Periyar Lake. This extravagant tour helps you to see the animals that
include elephant, sloth beer, gaur and sambar along the shore of the
lake taking a water break from their daily life. If lucky, you can
even spot a tiger coming to quench his thirst.
Day 21: Periyar - Aurangabad Next day early morning we set out for the exploration of the forest,
this time in a different way - we take you for jeep safari. You will
have a hair-raising experience while finding the wild animals roaming
around your jeep, unaware of your existence. Our guide will show you
some of the endangered species - lion-tailed macaque and slender loris
- who knows, perhaps they will not be there to welcome you in your
next trip to India. Day 22: Aurangabad Wake up early in the morning as today we are going to explore the
world famous ancient caves of Ajanta and Ellora. After breakfast we
start for Ajanta just at one and half hour distance from Aurangabad.
You will be amazed to find the fine carvings decorating the century
old temple facade. Amongst the all, Kailasa Temple needs special
attention from your side for its remarkable architecture.
Day 23: Mumbai Here comes Mumbai, the city of dreams. We start our tour by paying
visit to Prince of Wales Museum. Itself an architectural wonder, see
those archeological findings dating back to 2000 BC. If you are not a
painting lover, you will be so after watching the wide collection of
Indian paintings. From hereon, we move to the wondrous hanging gardens
perched at the top of Malabar Hill. Relax in the green lawns of the
garden, a rare sight of Mumbai. Our other destinations in Mumbai
include Flora Fountain, Haji Ali Dargah and Siddhivinayak Temple.
While in Mumbai, suddenly you may be caught into crowd, don't worry,
it is the shooting for Hindi Films. Day 24 : Mumbai Another day in Mumbai welcomes you. Get ready quickly as today we
will be taking you to Gateway of India - Mumbai's most famous monument
built to commemorate the landing of King George V and Queen Marry.
Let's taste another popular street food of Mumbai- bhel puri- a unique
preparation of puffed rice mixed with salt, coriander, onion and
tamarind juice. From hereon, we take a boat ride for Elephanta Caves.
You will be amazed to see how human hands have done magic with the
rocks. The towering image of Lord Shiva acquaints you with the
glorious past of the caves.
