Day 01 : Delhi - Shimla
Your arrival at Delhi airport marks the beginning of a wonderful
trip to the beautiful state of Himachal Pradesh. Our company
representative will receive and escort you to the hotel. A traditional
Indian welcome awaits you at the hotel. Check into your room and
refresh yourself. Our representative will brief you about the tour and
the things you should remember during the trip.
Later, you catch another flight for Shimla. On reaching Shimla, check
into your hotel and relax for the rest of the day. After all, you need
to prepare yourself for an exciting journey ahead.

Shimla Town
Day 02 : Shimla
Shimla, the capital city of Himachal Pradesh, is the first
destination where you will feel the magic of natural beauty and
culture intermingling with remarkable ease. The erstwhile summer
capital of the British empire in India, is today an year round
destination for tourists.
After breakfast, you will leave for the Mall, the most famous place
in Shimla, by a lift which starts from the Cart Road. Once you reach
there, take a walk around the promenade. Stop by to have a look at the
Gaiety Theatre, the centre of cultural activities during the raj era.
Spend some time exploring the production photographs of the plays that
were performed in the late 1920s.
Move over to Scandal Point at the end of the promenade. Later explore
the Lakkar Bazaar which is famous for its woodwork items. Pick up some
of these items if you like. Bargaining for goods is a practice over
here. So, if you have some bargaining skills, make complete
utilisation of it here. While at the Mall, you can enjoy a bit of more
shopping if you so wish. The Himachal Emporium will offer you a number
of handicrafts and souvenirs to buy.
Jakhoo Hills, the highest point in Shimla, is your next destination.
Leaving the usual route, which is from the ridge, you will take up the
path from Sanjauli. This will allow you to enjoy the beauty of thick
wood of oak, rhododendron and cedar. From atop the Jakhoo hills, watch
the sun set with all its splendour.
Return to your hotel and stay overnight in Shimla.
Day 03 : Chail
Today, you have an opportunity to explore the attractive
destinations around Shimla. So, have your breakfast quickly and head
for Chail which is around 60 km away from Shimla and was founded by
the Maharaja of Patiala.
Here, you will pay a visit to the highest cricket pitch in the world.
Take the pleasure of hitting a four or a six on this pitch and that
also in a cool weather. If cricket is not your kind of sport, you also
have an option of enjoying a game of polo. Pick your choice.
Move over to your next destination in Chail which is the Chail
Wildlife Sanctuary. A bit of adventure awaits you here. Trek through
the tall cedar and oak forests. A number of animals and birds are
expected to show up during your trip. In between, when you feel a bit
exhausted, just sit down and breathe in the fresh air that blows
through.
Later, in the evening enjoy a pleasant drive back to Shimla.
Overnight stay in Shimla.

Man Making Kullu Hats
Day 04 : Kullu
Today, proceed further in your journey to explore the beautiful
state of Himachal Pradesh. The town of Kullu and its surrounding
attractions are on your agenda for the next two days.
After covering a distance of around 270 km, reach Kullu and check
into your hotel. You can relax for sometime if you so wish.
Thereafter, come out of your hotel and explore the town. Pay a visit
to the famous Raghunath temple and the Vaishno Devi temple which are
situated closeby. Alternatively, pick and make your way to any one of
the areas renowned for fishing - Raison (16 km), Largi (34 km) or
Banjar (55 km).
Later, return to your hotel and stay overnight in Kullu.
Day 05 : The Great Himalayan National Park
Today, you will spend your time in the lap of nature. Have your
breakfast quickly and head towards the Great Himalayan National Park,
which is around 50 km away from the Kullu town.
On your way, our representative will give you some basic details
about the park. He will tell you about its formation, geography and
attractions in form of animals and birds. You can also put up
questions before him which he will try answer to the best of his
capability.
Inside the park, trekking will make up for all the adventure that you
have been yearning for. It is the only way to explore the park too.
Following the trek route along with a guide provided by the park
authorities, you can spot few animals with a bit of luck on your side.
Look out more for birds and enjoy the natural beauty to the maximum.
In the evening, return to Kullu as there are very few or rather no
really good option to stay in the park or its surrounding areas.
Overnight in Kullu.
Day 06 : Kasol - Manikaran
After an exhausting previous day, you have an opportunity to get up
a bit late today. However, do not make it too late since you have few
attractive destinations to visit today as well.
Kasol is small tourist village on the banks of Parvati river, around
45 km away from Kullu. Here, you will enjoy a bit of refreshment at
the hut run by HPTDC. Next you will enjoy what this place is famous
for - trout fishing. If you have not had much of luck in your last
trout fishing round, then ofcourse this is the time to give yourself
another chance. Spend some quality time here before you move on
further to your next destination - Manikaran.
Just 3 kms away from Kasol, Manikaran is basically a place for
pilgrims, Hindu and Sikh. Here, you will pay a visit to the temple of
Lord Ramchandra, Shiva and gurudwara dedicated to Guru Nanak Devji.
Also, see the hot sulphur springs which are sacred for both Hindus and
the Sikhs. The langakhana serves food for the devotees. If you feel
like having food in god's home, then do go to langakhana.
The rest of the day is free for you to roam around and soak in the
pleasant feeling of being at a religious destination. Interact with
the devotees and try to know about the interesting legend that has
made Manikaran a religious destination.
Later, in the evening, return to your hotel in Kullu and have your
dinner. Overnight in Kullu.
Day 07 : Manali
Have your breakfast and move further in your journey. The beautiful
Manali is next on your itinerary. Reach Manali which is 40 km away,
and check into your hotel.
Thereafter, move out and lend yourself to the charms of Manali. Visit
the very famous Hadimba Devi temple and the Manu temple to start of
your trip for the day. Next, enjoy a visit to the famous Vashistha hot
water springs and temples. The temples are dedicated to Lord Rama and
renowned sage Vashistha. Take a dip in the water of the springs
brought into a tank and offer your prayers at the temples.
Later, its time for a round of shopping and eating. The Mall has some
really good place to shop for handicrafts, Chinese goods, ethnic
Himachal jewelleries and shawls from Kullu and Kinnaur. Again, bargain
the prices of items you like. You are likely to end up with some good
deals. As for eating, select what appeases your taste buds most -
south Indian dishes, north Indian vegetables, Tibetan and Chinese
cuisine.
Return to your hotel at the end of the day and stay overnight in
Manali.

Ma Hidimba Temple - Manali
Day 08 : Manali - Rohtang Pass
Its a day for adventure around Manali. Quickly get into a car after
your breakfast and head towards the Rohtang Pass, the only gateway to
Lahaul Spiti from Manali. The pass is around 51 km away.
Enroute stop at the Snow Point which is where there is sufficient
snow for the tourists to enjoy. Here, you can play with snow as much
as you want before proceeding ahead on your journey. As you move
further in your journey, the drive becomes difficult. However, you
need not worry about anything as the driver is quiet well acquainted
with the area.
Kothi is where you halt next. It is a small village where the sight
of river Beas roaring down through a deep gorge is spellbinding.
Another magnificent sight greets you around 12 kms further. The
Rahalla waterfalls crashes down from a great height presenting a
mesmerising view.
Refresh yourself at the Marhi village which has quiet a lot of eating
places. Relax a bit here before you move on. As you get closer to the
zenith of the pass, the views of the surrounding areas will get more
and more beautiful. However, once you are there at the top, all that
you have seen till now will take a backseat, for it is from here that
views are best. There is the Lahaul valley below and Sonapani glacier
in the north, presenting a stunning reward for all the effort taken to
drive up to this point.
Later, return to your hotel and stay overnight in Manali.
Day 09 : Palampur
Today, early in the morning, have your breakfast and pack your bags.
Leave for your next destination which is Palampur, around 200 km away.
Reach Palampur and check into your hotel. Relax till noon in your
room. Have your lunch and relax for a while.
Move to the paragliding capital of India, Bir and enjoy a bit of
adventure in air. If you do not wish to indulge in adventure, then
there are four monasteries which you can explore in Bir. And, then you
cannot leave out the charms of green tea gardens as well.
Later, pay a visit to the immensely revered Baijnath temple dedicated
to Lord Shiva. Enroute stop by at Andretta and explore the village
that became home to two famous artists - painter Shobha Sigh and
playwright Norah Richards.
Return to your hotel in Palampur and stay overnight.

Buddhist Temple Dharamshala
Day 10 : Dharamshala - Mc Leodganj
Have your breakfast and leave for Dharamshala which is around 40 km
away from Palampur. On reaching, check into your hotel and come out
immediately afterwards to explore this hill station which spreads over
different levels on the mighty Dhauladhar range.
The upper Dharamshala, Mc Leodganj is where you will come across the
Tibetan culture. As you move up from the lower portion of the
Dharamshala to the upper areas, you will pass through a library. Sit
and go through the Tibetan books for a while if they interest you.
Otherwise, continue your journey and reach the two storeyed Buddhist
temple, Tsuglagkhang. The temple stands quiet closeby the private
residence of the Dalai Lama.
The Namgyaima Stupa is your next destination in Mc Leodganj. It
commemorates the sacrifice made by the valourous Tibetan soldiers who
lost their lives fighting for a free Tibet. Turn the prayer wheel
along with other devotees and instantly feel the peace that fills in
your heart.
Afterwards take an eight km trek from the town to reach a popular
picnic spot, Triund. From there, enjoy fantastic views of the
Dhauladhar range. Move another five kms to reach Llaqa from where the
snowline starts. Needless to say, views of snowcapped Dhauladhar peaks
are even more mesmerising from here.
Later, return to your hotel and relax. Stay overnight in Dharamshala.
Day 11 : Dharamshala - Mc Leodgang
Today, you will explore and enjoy Dharamshala even more. So have
your breakfast and set out for another exciting day.
Explore the Norbulingka Institute which was established by the Dalai
Lama to develop the Tibetan art and craft. Roam through the park,
cross the bridge, visit the thangka showroom, crafts department and
doll museum in this institute.
Also, pay a visit to the the St John's Church in the wilderness which
is not only one of the earliest monuments of the area but also houses
a cemetery of the former British viceroy, Lord Elgin.
After, a round of sightseeing, its now time to enjoy some shopping in
Mc Leodganj. Roam around the main bazaar of Mc Leodganj and pick up
Tibetan items - carpets, thangkas, ponchos, jackets, masks and cheese.
Try out Tibetan cuisine while you are roaming around in Mc Leodganj.
Later, return to your hotel and stay overnight in in Dharamshala.

Dalhousie Port
Day 12 : Dalhousie
Have your breakfast and leave Dharamshala to reach Dalhousie. After
covering a distance of around 143 km, arrive in Dalhousie and check
into your hotel. Refresh yourself and lie down for a while if you so
wish.
Afterwards, start on a trip to explore the beautiful hill station of
Dalhousie which unfortunately has not been able to attract as many
visitors as Shimla. Your first destination today is the St Francis
Church which, though not an architectural delight, is worthvisiting
once.
Without spending much time over here, move to your next destination,
Gandhi Chowk from where you will head towards Satdhara and Panchpullah
on foot. The former of the two waterfalls is believed to possess
medicinal properties while the latter is also home to a monument
dedicated to Ajit Singh, uncle of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh.
From here, undertake a 2.5 km trek to the Alah water reservoir and
enjoy some pretty views of the surroundings. On reaching there, sit
for a while in the Himachal Tourism cafe and enjoy some refreshment.
On your way back, take a 2 km walk along the pucca road and reach back
to the town.
In the evening, pay a visit to the oldest church of Dalhousie which
is dedicated to St John. Afterwards, return to your hotel and stay
overnight in Dalhousie.
Day 13 : Khajjar - Chamba
Have your breakfast quickly and and pack your bags. Today you leave
for your last destination, Chamba. However, enroute stop by Khajjar,
whose beauty has earned appreciation from many.
Once you reach Khajjar, visit the Khajinag temple which has a golden
dome. Thereafter, you have enough time to enjoy yourself the way you
want to. Walk around the lake, play with its water, play a game of
golf, ride a horse or do absolutely nothing at all - the choice is all
yours.
In the evening, travel 20 km to reach Chamba. Check into your hotel
and stay there overnight.

Chamba Lake, Chamba
Day 14 :Chamba
Today, you have another opportunity to get up late. Have your
breakfast and set out to explore the town of Chamba where attraction
lies in the numerous temples.
Your first halt today is the large Laxmi Narayan Temple complex,
considered the oldest one in the town. The temples here are mostly
dedicated to Shiva and Vishnu. Next, pay a visit to the Brajeshwari
Devi temple and the Hariraya temple. A 1 km trek to Chamunda Devi
temple figures next on your list.
Finish off your visits to temple in the town in the first half of the
day. In the second half, proceed towards Bharmour which is around 65
km away and cannot be missed out while on a trip to Chamba. Here apart
from temples, beautiful views of Mount Kailash will hold your
attention. Roam around the wonderful Chaurasi Temple complex.
Thereafter, leave for Holi where you will visit an ancient temple
dedicated to sun god. Also meet up with the Gaddi tribals who are more
traditional as compared to those found in other parts of Himachal.
Return to your hotel and stay overnight in Chamba.
Day 15 : Return Journey
Today, you embark on your return journey. Travel to the Gaggal
airport and catch a flight to Delhi. From there, move on further in
your journey or take a flight back home, as per your plans.
