Tura Attractions

Rongrengiri

Is located at a distance of about 79 kms from Tura. A historical place where the Garos fought their final battle against the British.

Willliamnagar

Is 508 kms from Shillong via Guwahati. Headquarters of the East Garo Hills District, it is situated on the banks of the Simsang river.

Balpakram

A National Wildlife Park 167 kms from Tura known as the abode of perpetual winds. It has often been compared to the Grand Canyon of U.S.A. for its similar precipices and gorges.

Naphak Lake

Naphak Lake is located 12 kms from Tura. It is ideal for fishing and bird watching with the river Simsang flowing nearby.

Siju Cave

The famous limestone caves of Siju are located close to Naphak Lake and the Simsang Game Reserve. The formation of stalagmites & stalaclites in these caves resemble those of the Blue Grotto in the Isle of Capris.
