Park Hyatt Resort

Park Hyatt Resort- Goa
In the heart of the South Goa, spread over lush forty
six acres of green grass is the Park Hyatt Resort and Spa. As a part
of the Global Hyatt corporation, certain features are inherent to it
such as its distinguished sense of place and strong local flavour in
everything. At a modest 15 minute drive from the airport, set in
Cansaulim village, on Arrossim beach, the resort evokes the feel of
Goa as soon as you enter it. You will feel like as if you have come to
a Goan village. That's the speciality of park resorts, they bring
local culture within the resort.
Giving a new meaning to the Indian hospitality, the Park Hyatt resort
brings every moment of Goa alive within itself. From the architecture
of the rooms to its spa, everything will capture your imagination.
And while in Park Hyatt, you don't need to bother about your children
also since 'Camp Hyatt' will keep you free by offering to keep
your children safe and hooked with lots of educational, fun, indoor
and outdoor activities.
There is a 'Village Plaza' in the heart of the resort which
has retail shops selling local artefacts, a spa shop, a 35 seat Cinema
Paradiso showing Hollywood and Bollywood films, luxury goods shops.
The 'Village Plaza' is slightly elevated to give you the sea view and
refreshing sea breeze.
Abode in Watery Locales
What makes rooms in Park Hyatt so special and different
are that these rooms are beautifully nestled among waterways and
lagoons. To take you through a true Goan journey, the architecture of
these well appointed rooms is in Indo-Portuguese style. However, from
inside they are quite spacious and the decor is contemporary. What's
more interesting is that all the rooms have an open plan marble
bathroom with a sunken spa style bath and rain showers. As if that's
not enough, there are bathrooms with attached 'secret miniature
gardens', and hidden showers in the foliage.
For you to stretch out and relax with some fresh air within your own
space, the rooms have verandas and balconies. And if you are one of
those who would like to see the sea stretching out of your window than
go for a Sea view room and enjoy Arabian sea unfurling right from your
window. The resort is very health conscious about its guests, so
smoking is not allowed everywhere, there are designated areas for
smoking.
Food unlimited
Dining in Park Hyatt is a gourmet's delight. With the
sheer variety for you to choose from the creative cuisines available
here, you can experience a different taste on each day of your stay.
In the heart of Park Hyatt is the 'Village Plaza', where all the
restaurants and lounges are. Leisure here in the stately surroundings
and relish the delectable food.
For an ultimate South Indian experience drop in at 'Sambhar'.
The ambience is such that within Goa, you will feel as if you are
dining in a typical south Indian home. A traditional village set up
welcomes you inside which complete with an open kitchen, brass
utensils, chutney jars and terracota walls. The cuisine essentially
South Indian has a large variety of curries and rice dishes along with
the regular sambhar, rasam, pachadi (yoghurt), dosa etc. And to
complete the experience you are served on a fresh plaintain leaf!
'da Luigi' is the Italian restaurant with traditional Italian
dishes. The USP of the restaurant is the stress it lays on authentic
food preparation and serving. Adding to the cuisine is the commendable
collection of wines..
Showcasing the creativity to make your dining experience unique in
Park Hyatt is 'Market Grill- The Interactive Grill Restaurant'.
Enter here in a world of unique interiors marked by minimal decor,
terracotta walls and wooden furnishings. The floor to ceiling windows
open to you a landscape of green carpet and cool waters shimmering
with evening lights of the Village Plaza. Combine with this the
freshest of sea food and be rest assured of a delightful experience.
And if you are one of those typical north Indian
foodies and love naan and dal Makhani, head straight to 'Masala'.
A delicious north Indian cuisine and open tandoor along with the Goan
delicacies await you here. Your dining experience in Goa will be
incomplete without a starlit evening dinner by the beachside.
'BBQ' is your answer to this in Park Hyatt. Savour the fresh
seafood, charcoal-grilled and spit-roasted meats, hand-picked wines
and delicious salads. And all this by the beachside enjoying the sea
breeze.
To have a sumptous breakfast or a quick refreshing drink head anytime
either to 'The Bakery' or the 'Juice Bar'. 'The Bakery
' is better known for its wide selection of cakes and pastries and
cookies made out of imported chocolates. It also stores cookies made
using imported chocolates, fibre enriched breads, muffins, croissants,
and Goan specialities. To refresh you 'Juice Bar' offers a wide range
of fruits and vegetable drinks, milkshakes and ice teas etc.
This is not all. After you have exhausted yourself through the day
head to a lounge or bar in the resort. Like the resort, the lounges
also make you reminisce the past. 'Praia de Luz - The Wine and
Cigar Bar ' is a perfect place for you to unwind with the sunset
view. Lending it a laidback air with Portuguese style are the teakwood
chairs and tables and the candlelight illuminance. In the centre is a
bar serving wines exported from South Africa, Chile and California
apart from beverages and spirits. You can also enjoy a fine cigar in
the Cosy Cigar Corner or shake a leg on the dance floor. 'Aquamarine-
The Pool Side Bar' with its chilled out atmosphere, chairs around
the pool and refreshing mocktails give you a perfect reason to drop
by. Not to forget the beverages and delightful munchies. Last but not
the least, there is 'Miranda -The Lobby Lounge', inspired and
named after the famous Goan cartoonist. Designed to match the liking
of the living icon, Mario Miranda, the music, paintings, art and wine
all echo the cartoonist's cherished tastes.
