Taj exotica has a main hotel building with deluxe (94) and luxury (8) rooms and two luxury suites. Another section of the resort has two and four bedroom villas. Each of the villas has a unique feature like some are garden villas, others have private pools and some have all of these.

Never mind which room or villa you take, all the rooms have private balconies or verandas to give you that perfect serenity which lends your vacation the much needed space and self realization. You can sit in your private balcony and watch the sea unfurl.

The interiors of the rooms are spacious and present an elegant blend of Goan and Portuguese styles. Each room within itself speaks of its traditional Indian comforts that remind you of the Indian hospitality.

You can enjoy the vast sea in front of you with a drink in the hand straight out of your room's mini bar or you can sit by your private pool to enjoy the evening sea breeze.

Once inside the Taj Exotica, you will be in the abode of luxury and leisure. The serenity and the tranquility begin to take over your senses. The skillfully done Chiaroscuro artistry (the shades of dark and light) begins its magic and you see the Arabian sea unfurling before you and the golden sun shine streaming down, all this from the lobby.

A ride to your room in the golf cart is just the beginning of a heavenly vacation. This ride takes you past the green freshly mowed lawns, the blue swimming pools and a wild yet crafted terrain of jasmine, bougainvillea and frangipani.

You can't get enough of the palm trees swaying to the sea breeze and the sea beyond, so never mind, sit by the window and stare endlessly at the sea. You can watch the sea from every room and villa in the Taj Exotica.

The fun and recreation activities are so many that the resort actually holds an orientation for its guests everyday in the lobby (5 pm) to acquaint them with the possibilities!

A Food Paradise

Eating at Exotica is not just the food but a complete experience with the ambiance and the aroma. Taj Exotica has seven eateries, all different, all special. From the Goan specialities vindaloo and feni to the international cuisines, its all here.

Eugenia, the coffee shop with a range of world cuisines will present your favourite dish but with a twist. You will get prawns with apples and celery. Sunlight drenched Eugenia is better for breakfast, lunch and meals with families.

If you plan a romantic evening then head for the Mediterranean restaurant Miguel Arcanjo (named after the legendary chef) overlooking the sea. Every dish here is signature dish which is presented in a terrific way. Once here, you will never forget the place.

Then there is the Tea lounge open during the day for you to enjoy varieties of tea from all over the world. Adega Camoens is a lounge bar where you can unwind in the evening with feni in hand and see the sun going down the sea.

Li Bai is an oriental restaurant and another restaurant is Mestre Pascoal, exclusively Goan speciality restaurant.

Move on, you will not miss eating food in a shack as there is a thatched roof eatery 'Lobster shack' on the beach front offering the delectable sea food and wine. Pool side sandwich counter and fresh fruit bar is what you call a perfect setting for a quick bite.

The Spas in Exotica

If your vacation is a pleasure cum rejuvenation trip then head on to the spa without second thoughts. A physical and spiritual revival is what the spa promises. There are two spas in Taj Exotica. Jiva and Taamra, both internationally renowned and awarded.

The Jiva Spa

The Jiva spas are a feature of the Taj resorts all over the world and country as well. The Jiva spa in Taj Exotica had won Spa Finder Readers' Choice award for World's Top 10 Best Spa Interior Design. The architecture of the spa and its interiors are done as to remind you of temples in Kerela. The spa has spacious treatment rooms, couple suites and single rooms for men and women complete with skilled masseurs, ayurveda experts and therapies which together transform your body and soul. Then there are signature treatments recommended by the doctors especially for you. The products they use are made from pure Indian herbs, then they use the aromatherapy oils and natural creams. The Jiva spa is managed by the Ayushman Ayurveda Trust, a prominent institute of traditional Ayurveda.

Taamra Spa

One of the most expensive spas in the country, the Taamra spa is a visitor's delight. The ambience inside, reminiscent to that of a Kerela temple, is built in wood and stone. You get tailor cut treatments for your self here. There are couple massage suits and private gardens and bathing pools. Taamra promises you a different world of health and rejuvenation within your own space.
