Charm of Hyderabad - Charminar
It was a normal day on which me and my friends decided to go for a short tour to Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. But we were unaware that this will be the unforgettable tour of our life. We took Sampark Kranti express from Hazrat Nizamuddin which was at 7 in the morning. We boarded the train and reached Hyderabad the next morning. We stayed in a hotel right next to Secundrabad station.
We got fresh and went to explore Hyderabad Attractions. The city was great. You can see the Hussain Sagar Lake which is the only boundry which divides Hyderabad and Secundrabad. The evening at Hussain Sagar is great as you can do boating and can visit the buddha statue in the middle of the lake. The next day we went to see Charminar. It is marvellous and It's awesome. The Mecca Masjid just beside it is also great. You can feel the old city of Hyderabad near the Charminar and don't forget to have Hyderabadi biryani and irani chai near Charminar which are the best part of Andhra Pradesh cuisine. Next day we went to see the Salar Jung Museum where the antics and jewellery belonging to Nizam of Hyderabad can be seen. We made a short stop at Falaknuma Palace of Nizam's. Few kilometers away from Hyderabad is Golconda fort. It took almost an entire day to go through all the wonders in the fort. We even stayed on for a wonderful light and sound show in the evening.
So Hyderabad is a place were one must go. The people are really friendly. The biryani and irani chai are irresistable. The palaces and royalty can still be felt there. Hyderabad is a place where there are destinations to hang out for every age group. Its a great place to visit.
