Samadhi of Shirdi Sai Baba - Shirdi
Recently, I went on pilgrimage to Shirdi located in Maharashtra. Its a holy place where Lord Sai Baba resided. Pilgrims in huge numbers visit the temple to seek blessings of the almighty. Throughout the year the temple remains bustling with crowds. I make a visit to Shirdi every year since I have sincere devotion towards Sai Baba. Any traveller would love to visit the place again and again because of the pleasant weather that the place has and the attraction one can feel towards god after visiting once.
The most fascinating about Shirdi is the palki that is carried every Thursday throughout Shirdi. Its actually a procession in which, a statue of Lord Sai Baba is carried in pallanquin accompained by the locals and tourists. Its seems to be a paradise since there is a feeling of eternal peace in the home of god.
